Fifty & North ("Fifty & North," "we," "us") is a trip-planning business owned and run by Kevin Tantillo, a sole proprietor based in Georgia, USA (Kevin Tantillo dba Fifty & North). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit fiftyandnorth.com (the "Site"), contact us, or buy a plan or call, and what we do with it.
The short version: we collect only what we need to plan your trip and get paid. We don't sell your information. We don't share it for advertising, and we don't use advertising trackers.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Intake and contact forms: your name, email address and phone number (optional), plus trip details: destinations, dates, group size and ages, fitness and experience level, interests, budget, and any accessibility, medical or dietary notes you choose to share.
- Purchases: name, email and billing details. Card numbers go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Call bookings: name, email, time zone, the time you pick, and any notes, collected through Cal.com.
- Emails and calls: whatever you send us or tell us.
Information collected automatically
- Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to deliver the Site and protect it against abuse.
- The Site itself doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe and Cal.com may set strictly necessary cookies on their own pages for security and fraud prevention.
Sensitive information: please share health or medical details only if they matter for your plan (for example, altitude concerns or mobility limits). We use them only to tailor your itinerary.
2. How we use it
- To plan, write, deliver and revise your itinerary, and to hold calls you book
- To process payments, issue receipts and handle refunds
- To answer questions and send service messages about your order
- To keep records for taxes and accounting, as the law requires
- To protect the Site, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms
- To send occasional news or Trail Notes only if you opt in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
We don't use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business (in which case we'll notify you).
We do not sell or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California and other state privacy laws.
Travel suppliers: we don't book travel, so we don't send your information to airlines, hotels, parks or outfitters. You give it to them yourself when you book through the links in your plan.
4. How long we keep it
- Trip details and plans: up to 3 years after delivery, so we can handle revisions, repeat trips and questions. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
- Payment and tax records: as long as tax law requires (generally 7 years).
- Form submissions in Formspree: about 30 days on its free plan. We keep a copy in our email.
5. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, or to stop marketing emails, by writing to hello@fiftyandnorth.com. We'll respond within 30 days (or sooner if your state's law requires it) and may need to verify your identity. We won't treat you differently for using your rights. Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia or Canada), you may have additional rights. We'll honor them where they apply. Canadian residents can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
6. Security
We use reputable providers, HTTPS everywhere, and access controls on our accounts (including two-factor authentication). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so please don't email us anything you'd consider highly sensitive, such as ID numbers or card numbers.
7. Children
The Site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Plans may include details about children traveling with an adult client; that information comes from the adult and is used only for the plan.
8. International visitors
We're based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. By using the Site, you understand that your information will be processed in the US.
9. Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date above. Significant changes will be posted on the Site.
